Pinky Aquaponics

Deva started the construction of her Pinky Aquaponics in 2016. The objective of this lab was mainly to prove feasibility and understand the limitations of Aquaponics in the climate we face in Asia. This was obviously critical to the decision to start AHAs.

Deva’s Pinky Aquaponics is located in Balikpapan, Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is focusing on optimizing the aquaponics growing process from seeding to harvesting. Study fish and plant behavior in different environments and push the limits of aquaponics to grow plants in unconventional climate environment, like strawberry in hot climate.

Deva has been experimenting on both vegetable and flowers.

An Aquaponics lab built with galvanized frame, wood, and liners

The hydraulic and oxygenation system are simple but appropriate to such size aquaponics system.

Pinky Cute Aquaponics Lab offers many different type of grow media including DWC, gravel beds, Dutch Buckets, NFT, Wall.

And a slope nursery

The results have been incredible. See for yourself
